Introduction of ePhysician's Office

The primary motive for creating E Physician's Office was to facilitate the evolution in clinical decision analysis from rules-based to actionable data driven strategies.

Given the suboptimal architecture of current data solutions available elsewhere, E Physician's Office developed a physician- initiated algorithm that offers a generic template, that can aggregate, assemble and analyze data in real time within a reliable and validated e infrastructure. This tool will augment the cognitive decision making that providers regularly perform, and will serve to make a provider a better provider.

ePhysicians Office, Inc. offers a suite of unique services which are unavailable elsewhere within the field of medical informatics. Via a patented e infrastructure, the tenets of rigorous evidence-based decision making - generally regarded to be the domain of academic institutions and biostatisticians - have successfully been democratized and made available to all sectors of the health care community.

The initial step in development of an evidence-based tool is the appropriate assembly of prospectively acquired data. The web side allows the user, from any Internet access, to build a custom template, which automatically accrues data. The data reflects a user-initiated and developed series of variables, variable choices and all potential outcomes associated with an event. The completed template is a statistically rigorous Bayesian-based mathematical model, collaboratively developed by the user-client "subject matter experts" together with our physicians in that medical specialty.

Reiterations and modifications to the model can then be independently performed, and validity rechecked, on-line, solely by the user-client.

The data, so assembled and accrued, can be monitored for statistical significance, which is displayed in graphic form. At a certain point, the template becomes a bonafide artificial intelligence tool, which gains in intelligence automatically as more data is submitted.
